Cocktail Parties & Passed Hors D'Oeuvres
The average cocktail party lasts 2-3 hours during which guests snack on butler passed homemade picture perfect finger foods and imbibe on great cocktails while chatting with other guests. It's actually a great way to socialize and easy to plan. There are so many options available. Please visit "Chef Menu" for a selection of hot & cold Hors D'Oeuvres. Usually a selection of 8-12 is perfect.
Dinner Party I will meet you or the property manager/owner at the event location to inspect the kitchen space, take pictures, talk food, inventory service-ware, and create a one time personal "Chef Menu" with you, or you can choose a well thought out tried & true "Prix Fixe" menu. If all goes well I will leave with a reserved date and a deposit which will be deducted from the final invoice.
I will personally shop, prepare and arrive 2-4 hours before your event with service staff if needed. We use your dishes and glasses or rentals to set the table, prepare drinks, pass Hors D'Oeuvres and serve dinner. Leaving your house clean and organized.
All food is cooked from scratch. Highest quality products are used in the production of your meal. As a classically trained chef I focus on the use of regional, seasonal, and, when available, organic ingredients. I feel that preparing dishes with minimal manipulation allows the character of the ingredients to shine.
I recommend 2-3 types of "Passed Hors D'Oeuvres" for the first 30-45 minutes followed by a three course sit-down plated meal.
